An excellent and tasty family style mexican restaurant, with good food and cheap and tasty Margaritas ($3.5 to $4). The waitresses are dressed in costume and their is a Mariachi serenading the guests the whole time.

I highly recommend this place. Very tasty, and not too heavy, though not that spicy (well except my girlfriend (this was Nan Lan) ate 2 cooked jalepenós, and swallowed some seeds down the wrong pipe, and felt the burning in her ear. Ouch!!). I had the excellent Tacos Del Carbon, with the hand made corn tortillas they make in the middle of the restaurant, adn my girlfriend had the Chilli Relenos with the chicken enchiladas which she loved. Admitadly the Hot Sauce could be hotter, but this place is worth trying. And the lack of English spoken their should show you it is pretty authentic.

Actually I read about this place in Los Angeles Magazines, an they do warn not to have the Seafood, especially the really expensive Molcajete marycarmen, with split lobster, shrimp and bay scallops, which is supposed to be like rubber. I do want to try something in a Molcajete though, which is a hot 3 legged stone mortar, and comes heaped with food, but that should be saved for more than 2 people!
