This is a popular spot for islanders because of the excellent food, and we could tell because we had to wait for a table, though not too long. The menu is excellent with lots of choices including some delicious looking salads that were huge. We came for Chowder and sandwiches and were very pleased.

Admittedly I wasn't so psyched about the Chowder, mainly because it had way too many bacon chunks in it, and wasn't as nearly chocked full of clams as The Galley. I had to stop eating because of all the pork chunks in fact. It tasted great, but after The Galley it just isn't the same.

I had a Sirloin Sandwich with horse radish sauce and it was great. A thin little steak that was quite tender and tasty. My mom and Kelly split a BLT but with a green tomatoe and seemed quite overjoyed.

This place is tasty and good, with reasonable prices and good service. Well worth checking out.
