Kelly and I went to go to Noodle City, and it is closed for renovations, so we went to my number 2 Pho restaurant. This one is on the West side of the street and there is an alley just south which leads to a parking structure (or there is parking behind, but not very much). And expect a wait, because there are always people waiting.
This is a photo from my iPhone, so it could be better, but I ordered what I always get at Pho, and the usual which is Pho Tai, or rare steak in Pho broth. I got the large as I usually do.
This is a good and tasty Pho, though the broth isn't quite as good as that at Noodle City, but still pretty good. The meat is different though, here there is actually more meat, and the meet is cut thinner, so there are many more pieces, which I do like. The noodles are nice and tasty, and the veggies and additions are all nice and fresh. This is delicious Pho and quite tasty, not my favorite (which is Noodle CIty) but certainly my second favorite.
The service is pretty fast, and you must remember that like Noodle City you need to pay at the front counter, though here you leave a tip at the table instead of the tip jar.
Well worth checking out.
