A gorgeous vineyard to visit with a tram car that takes you to the Winery at the top of the hill, and a self guided tour that isn't too impressive, then the taste of 5 wines. Not the best wine, but decent.

We tried 5 different wines at Sterling.

2004 napa valley sauvignon blanc, decent white, fruity start, but a bit of an aftertaste that lingers a bit.

2004 cellar club pinot gris rose, excellent dry pink, with a fruity taste. Tasty, no aftertaste.

2002 cellar club zinfandel. Amazing smell. A light red, very spicy, they say good with pizza.

2002 napa valley cabernet sauvignon strong tasting, and a bit bitter, not my favorite, heavy aftertaste, rooty, earthy.

2004 cellar malvasia bianca, very sweet white, fruity light and tasty. Told it's good with asian spicy or curry. Incredible smell.
