I admit it, we only went to this winery because it is the only free wine tasting left in the valley, but it was well worth it, and even ordered 6 bottles of wine from their. Their is a reason they have a free tasting, and you can only get their wine there, or from their web site, it is not carried in any store, so you really must try it out.

This is one of the oldest wineries in Napa Valley, founded in 1885, and still going strong, and also has an excellent looking deli, and you can eat a picnic lunch their with a bottle of wine. We did some serious tasting there, and we tried.

2003 napa valley chardonay good, tasty, smells good

2004 dry johannisberg reisling, excellent, light and fruity, and we ordered 3 bottles of this amazing wine!

2004 gamay rouge, excellent fruity, lightly sweet, excelent fruity taste. Rose, excellent, and also ordered 3 bottles of this excellent wine.

2002 duarte vineyard old vine zinfandel, decent, tasty, sharp aftertaste

2002 morisoli vineyard cabernet sauvignon , good, smells nice, dry, slight bite

2004 muscat, very sweet tasty white, a little too sweet for me.

ANGELICA, a muscat and congac mix, very sweet, good aftertaste.

This place is a must try!!!

Ha, I know this was a long time ago, but when Kelly and I tried this wine it was so sweet! My wine taste sure has changed since 2005!
