My mom's personal pick for best New England Clam Chowder, and I have to agree. The place is a little stand on the harbor, where you can order the food in the front, and either get it for takeout, or eat it in the back on a little deck without windows that overlooks the picturesque fishing town that is Menemsha.

The New England Clam Chowder is to die for. It has so many fresh clams in it, and is not thick and creamy, nor with huge chunks of pork, and yet your spoon can stand up, but only because of all the clams! This is good Clam Chowder.

And then they have the lobster role. This is the most incredible lobster role I have ever seen. This is just a cheap hot dog bun with some lettuce, and then huge chunks of fresh lobster meat. And I do mean huge chunks. This costs about $10 and is the most lobster meat I have ever seen in something like this.

Another find are the incredible crab cakes, which are again about $10, and the best crab cakes I have ever have.

Again if you are on the island in or around the summer months you are a fool if don't avail yourself of this amazing little eatery.
